Tagnile acquires the popular Sarastia365 Asiointi service – renamed Tagnile365

28 November 2024 – Tagnile Oy and Numera Palvelut Oy have agreed on an acquisition in which the Sarastia365 Asiointi business will be transferred to Tagnile on 31 December 2024. Going forward, the service will be called Tagnile365. The acquisition supports Tagnile’s strategy and strengthens its position as a leading operator and partner in e-services for municipalities and cities.

The Tagnile365 service will replace the form service, that is, the ePalvelu service, previously provided by Tagnile.

“Going forward, we will provide comprehensive and high-quality services to municipalities and cities through our Tagnile365 service. Our services are based on Microsoft’s advanced D365 cloud technologies, and we have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies,” says Lillberg. “We will ensure our customers a flexible transfer to the Tagnile365 service together with the professionals joining us from Numera Palvelut. We offer our customers increasingly high-quality solutions to make e-services more efficient and easier.”

Increasingly high-quality services for municipalities and cities

The acquisition includes the customer agreements, intellectual property rights and personnel related to the S365 Asiointi business. The customers’ services will continue as before as the Tagnile365 service. The service includes several different service processes that are widely used by municipal residents and other municipal stakeholders. These services include suomi.fi services, subsidy applications and administration, integration services, employment services and participatory budgeting.

Starting from the beginning of 2025, TE services will become part of the statutory duties of every municipality and, thus, part of the basic services of every municipality. Tagnile365 also covers TE services in accordance with the new requirements.

From Tagnile, municipalities and cities can continue to purchase the development of online services safely. “We are a medium-sized Finnish private sector operator and we do not have any old encumbrances. We offer the professionals joining us the opportunity to develop and specialise as top experts in e-services,” Lillberg emphasises. “We are convinced that this acquisition will benefit all parties.”

A few facts in a nutshell:

  • Tagnile’s special expertise in online services provides municipalities and cities with the opportunity to use increasingly high-quality e-services that comply with regulations.
  • The Tagnile365 service, produced using Microsoft’s cloud technology, also includes a form service and will replace Tagnile’s ePalvelu and iPalvelu services.
  • The availability and quality of the services will be ensured throughout the transition to the Tagnile365 service.

Transfer of services

How will the services be transferred to Tagnile365?

Tagnile and Numera Palvelut will work closely together throughout the transition period to ensure that everything is transferred from the S365 Asiointi service to the Tagnile365 service in a controlled manner. Tagnile offers customers information through different channels and, if necessary, personal guidance.

Where can I get support?

In the future, Tagnile will be responsible for the maintenance and development of the Sarastia365 Asiointi service. Customers can continue to use the same support channel during the transition period. Customers will be informed of any changes to contact details in good time.

What will happen to Sarastia’s customer agreements?

The customer agreements related to the Sarastia365 Asiointi service will be transferred to Tagnile in connection with the acquisition. The terms of the agreements will remain unchanged and customers do not need to make any changes.

How will the transition affect the user experience?

The user experience will remain unchanged during the transition, and no changes are expected in the actions of customers or users. Tagnile will focus on maintaining and developing the service, ensuring its continuous quality.

What will happen to ongoing development projects?

Together with Numera Palvelut, Tagnile will ensure that projects progress seamlessly without interruptions. All unfinished projects related to the Sarastia365 Asiointi service will be transferred to Tagnile. 

How will the personnel transition affect customer support?

The personnel related to the Sarastia365 Asiointi service will be transferred to Tagnile, so customers can trust that their needs will continue to be understood.

When will the change take effect?

The acquisition will enter into force at 12 midnight on 31 December 2024. Customer and user-related information and possible changes will be communicated well in advance of the transition.

Are the licences required for customers’ use ensured?

Numera Palvelut is responsible for ensuring that all necessary licences are in use until the time of transition. Tagnile will then take care of the management and continuation of the licences in accordance with the agreements.
